Coach
Anita Montgomery
I am a proud graduate of Tuskegee University with the class of 1991. I studied English and received a Bachelor of Arts degree. While in college I worked as a tutor for the university’s English Proficiency Exam which is required to graduate. After working several different jobs, I started teaching middle and high school English in rural Mississippi. I later moved to the DFW area where I continued to teach all levels of high school English. I have completed a Master of Education degree in Teacher Leadership and a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration. While I continue to teach, I am passionate about mentoring and supporting new teachers and tutoring struggling students.
After seventeen years in the classroom I still look for new ways to improve my skills to ensure that I am providing a great educational environment for every student that she teaches.
